Recover from
Long COVID

Get Your Life Back With Marianne Svanevik

Struggling with Long COVID is tough. No energy, hard to be social, working is impossible. The doctors don’t know what to do, the internet has nothing to offer, and you can feel helpless and alone.

We know.

Marianne has spent the last 20 years treating patients with long term fatigue. She’s one of the world’s top experts at treating long term fatigue and has a proven track record - hundreds of patients have fully recovered.

Unfortunately, her waiting list is long. To solve this, Marianne has created a recovery program that helps people with Long COVID get better, step-by-step, week-by-week, without the need to meet one-on-one in her clinic.

Who we are

Marianne Svanevik is a leading private practicing physiotherapist who has helped hundreds of people recover from ME/chronic fatigue syndrome over the last 20 years. Since 2020, she's used the same method to successfully treat Long COVID patients.

Marianne first got interested in treating long-term fatigue when her daughter was diagnosed with ME as a teenager. It's been her life's work ever since.

Bjarte Bakke Austrheim caught Long COVID after an infection late  2022. Before getting sick, he was full of energy and an active parent of two young kids, who ran 10 km daily. He has 10 years experience as a management consultant and 8 years as the co-founder of a Swedish health-tech startup in Stockholm.

Having met Marianne during the autumn of 2023, he's taken many steps towards making a full recovery.

The method

Marianne has more than 20 years experience using Graded Exercise Therapy (GET) combined with cognitive techniques to treat patients with different types of long term fatigue. The fundamental principle of her method is to find the activity level the patient can master per now and then gradually, step-by step, increase it until the patient has fully recovered. This method works exceptionally well for many Long COVID patients.

The program is not for everyone and demands a lot from you

Recovering from Long COVID requires time, sweat, and tears. It’s like all other forms of training - no one can make you stronger, you have to do the work yourself.

To succeed, it’s important that you have strong motivation and are willing to make significant life changes.
